This Privacy Policy describes how Regret Hot: Cooling System ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our iOS mobile application designed for HVAC installation and service professionals.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

The App may collect and process the following categories of information:
• Device Identifier — a unique anonymous device ID generated on your iPhone/iPad to associate your synced data with your device on our backend servers.
• Project & CRM Data — client names, phone numbers, addresses, installation dates, equipment details (brand, model, capacity, refrigerant type), route lengths, refrigerant charge data, installation notes, checklists, and cost estimates that you enter into the App.
• Vacuum Protocol Records — evacuation logs including dates, client references, duration, micron readings, pressure drop measurements, and leak detection status.
• Achievements & Statistics — gamification progress, unlocked achievements, and usage statistics related to your professional activity within the App.
• Photos — installation photos (before, during, after) that you attach to projects. These may be stored locally on your device and synchronized to our servers as part of your project data.
• Support Inquiries — if you use the in-app contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message content.
We do not collect payment information, precise GPS location, contacts from your address book, or health data.
We use the information described above to:
• Provide core App functionality — project management, vacuum logging, achievements, and engineering calculators.
• Synchronize and back up your data across sessions via our backend service hosted at bro.regrethotcooling.online.
• Compute profile statistics and achievement progress.
• Respond to support requests you submit through the App.
• Maintain, improve, and secure the App and its backend infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored using an offline-first architecture:
• Local Storage — project data, protocols, achievements, and photos are cached locally on your iOS device.
• Cloud Sync — when an internet connection is available, your data is synchronized to our secure backend servers operated on Railway infrastructure at bro.regrethotcooling.online. Data is associated with your device identifier.
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your synchronized data for as long as your device account remains active on our servers. You may delete all your data at any time using the "Clear All App Local Data" option in App Settings, which removes local data and requests deletion of synchronized server data associated with your device identifier.
Support inquiry records may be retained for up to 12 months for quality assurance and legal compliance purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

The App uses the following third-party infrastructure:
• Railway — cloud hosting provider for our backend API and data storage.
• Apple iOS — the App runs on Apple's mobile platform and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy for platform-level data processing.
We do not integrate third-party advertising networks or analytics SDKs that track you across other apps or websites.
The App is intended for professional HVAC technicians and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App and enabling cloud sync, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at https://bro.regrethotcooling.online/privacy with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
